In order to execute this magic spell, you will need the
- 2 bags of steeped fennel seed tea
- A blank piece of paper
- A pen or pencil
- A white, cylindrical candle
- Steep two bags of fennel seed tea* for about 4 or 5 minutes,
then remove them from the water and set aside to cool off until
they can be handled.
*The reason this spell specifically requires fennel seed tea is
that this tea when ingested has a reputation for being an appetite
suppressant. Hence, it is also a good idea to drink a cup of fennel
seed tea before every meal, throughout the duration of this spell,
so as to reduce any strong urges to overeat.
- While you are waiting for the tea to steep and cool off, take
the piece of paper and write down the amount of weight you want
- Place your piece of paper, writing side down, under the white
- Light the candle and let it burn for 10 minutes (yes, the same
amount of time as the number of pounds you wish to shed).
- As the candle is burning, simply sit in silence, envision the
new you in your mind, meditate on the ways you are going to achieve
your goal, and imagine how you will feel when you have accomplished
- Once the 10 minutes have passed, carefully remove the paper
from underneath the candle and place it over the flame. Let it
burn, then blow out the candle.
