Good Luck Spell: Making a Good Luck Charm

There are many objects that symbolize good luck, some of which being the horseshoe, the rabbit’s foot, and the four-leaf clover. Numerous people put much faith in little charms and amulets that they believe will bring them good luck. Some individuals cannot function normally and believe that their whole day is absolutely cursed if they have forgotten to rub, kiss, or blow on their lucky charm.

Here is a good luck spell to make a personal lucky charm that will be infused with positive energy. You may wish to use a ring that your lover or treasured friend gave to you, or a trinket you bought on a particularly memorable day. You may choose any object you wish, as long as it holds some positive meaning for you.

Procedure
This particular good luck spell is best performed during a new Moon. Place one green candle on the right-hand side of your altar or table, and the other on your left-hand side, with the incense in the middle of the two. Set your small plate or bowl in front of you. Anoint the two candles with a few drops of jojoba oil and light them and the incense, progressing from right to left. Allow the exotic aroma from the incense to fill the room. Place your item in the small dish and sprinkle lightly with a pinch of nutmeg. Take up the item in your hands and slowly move it through the smoke of the incense seven times in a circular pattern. As you do this, repeat the following words:

Oh Lady Luck, please bless this charm,
With good fortune and success,
On this new Moon, I ask of thee,
For your prosperous caress.

After you have circled the incense seven times with your item, place it back in the dish and sprinkle lightly with a pinch of the allspice. Again, move the charm through the smoke another seven times, repeating the chant once more. Set down the charm. Once the candles and incense have both gone out, the good luck spell is completed. You have now charged your item with positive energy and good luck. You may repeat this ritual once a month in order to keep your charm as powerful as possible.
